Giorgio Minardi was named President, Dunkin’ Brands International, in February 2012. Giorgio is a highly experienced food-service and retail industry executive, with experience in top strategic development and brand management positions at prominent international food-service and retail companies.
As President, Dunkin’ Brands International, Giorgio is responsible for strategically expanding the presence of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins businesses outside the U.S. and for delivering a consistent and culturally relevant brand experience for the Company’s international customers.
Giorgio joined Dunkin’ Brands from Autogrill, a food, beverage and retail company, where he served as Managing Director, Europe and the Middle East, and also as the company’s Chairman in Spain and Belgium, and as President in Switzerland. Prior to Autogrill, Giorgio was with Burger King, first as the Vice President of Asia Pacific and later as Division Vice President of Northwest Europe. Giorgio also spent 16 years with McDonald’s Corporation, initially serving as Vice President Marketing, Asia Pacific, and ultimately as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Greater China, contributing significantly to the company’s growth in the region.
Giorgio also serves on the Board of Directors of Volotea Airlines in Europe.
